Lost Vigan Photos Found

Actually they were not lost I just never posted them or put them in Photobucket.

Vigan has the most and best preserved examples of Spanish Colonial architecture in the country because it was not bombed in WWII. I shot many photos and deleted them because the light was poor from the constant overcast. Seems like the sun only came out whenever I did not have my camera. Here is the one photo I saved.

If you’ve seen one Spanish Colonial Philippine building you’ve seen them all, so I found the public market to be much more interesting. Again, the photo opps suffered from overcast skies but I did catch one sunny day there.

Vigan is one of the few places in the Phils that have horse drawn carriages, known as Kalesa. These photos were taken in the morning while the carriages and their parking area were being made ready for the day. The Kalesa are the only public transit allowed inside the colonial area of the town.
