Seen on the Beach

I walk on the beach most mornings.  I’m surprised how much the beach can change from day to day given how small the surf is.  There are a few nearby rivers  that carry sediment into the sea where the along shore currents disperse it as well as sculpt the beach.  (Yep, I know the technical term is littoral drift.)

What’s on the beach changes little.  People, squid boats, dogs and monks.  I’m still hoping for all four in one photo.

Kitesurfing seems to have replaced windsurfing, this throw net fisherman found a use for an old board.

I’ve seen these in natural history museums. How big is it? That is an adult’s footprint.

Banana Boat trailer that was left on the beach when the tide came in.
