Flight of the Gibbons in Chiang Mai

Being a couple hundred feet off the ground in the tree canopy, sliding down cables from tree to tree, sometimes not being able to see your destination when stepping off a platform. What’s not to like? My rock climbing background meant I knew the heights and fear of falling wouldn’t bother me. The others enjoyed it much more than I did, probably because of the fear factor. That’s OK, it was a fun day and I’m glad I went.

We dressed for success,

played by the rules,

zipped,

sometimes had as much fun walking from one platform to another as riding the zipline between platforms,

and heard others nearby making the same happy sounds as our group.
