Haven’t heard the subject line phrase in I don’t know how long. Maybe it’s from an earlier generation because the only one I heard say it regularly was my father. Anyway, it’s used to illustrate the difference between the lower quality of work provided by the government when compared to the private sector.
What does this have to do with anything? One doesn’t expect much from the Thai government, not even on the simple stuff. Throughout this cold spell the official government website has been wrong. Way wrong. Laughably wrong. Of the three private sector sites I checked today, two said the temps will be between 19 and 22C, one said 19 and 21. The Thai government site predicts 22 to 30. Speculation is they don’t actually predict the weather, they just post the historical averages.
