Thai Style: Not Just Another Hallway

Imagine you’re designing the interior of a small upscale hotel. From the sidewalk one can see a short entry way, the open space of the lobby, then a hallway that ends at an exterior wall on the sunny side of the building. The hallway contains the elevators. Design something institutional for the elevator waiting area? Not in Thailand.
