Only one of the three things I love about photography can even begin to be expressed with an image. It’s a random encounter that compels me to drop everything, grab the camera, slow my mind down while adjusting the camera, all against the backdrop of knowing the state of the subject may change in moments.
I could see the sun dipping behind the mountains as I unlocked the front door. Saw this moments later.
The hand-held camera with a small sensor shooting a ho-hum subject unfortunately created an image bound for the trash can. Sometimes the journey is more rewarding than the destination.
