Found an Apartment in Chiang Mai

Spent yesterday checking out serviced apartments. There were 3 on the top of my list. It was easy to narrow it down to 1. One decision was made for me because they had no vacancies. Darn. It was on the top of my list.

Eliminating the next building was easy. Massive construction 40 yards away with only a low building to muffle the noise meant it was a no go unless there were units available on the opposite side. Shouldn’t surprise anyone there were none.

Put a deposit on a room in building number 3 this morning. Move in on Tuesday. Curious about the apartment building?

All 3 on the list had other serviced apartments near by that I also looked at. It became obvious why none of them was recommended on, in the forums or among the reviews by the students of a short term educational program in Chiang Mai. Might explain why those buildings are filled with Thais and the 3 on my list are filled with expats.
