I’ve Looked at Squid From Both Sides Now

This squid statue adorns the seaward end of a Cha-Am harbor breakwater. It wasn’t hot yet so many of the bicycle riding tourists, both Thai and Farang, stopped here before returning south. As ususual, I was taking pictures of people taking pictures.



Everyone took photos of the statue’s sunny side.



Only a few shot 1 or 2 images from the shade. Me? One photo from the sunny side after exhausting the possibilities of back lit squid. Why? The images are more interesting and getting the exposure right is a challenge.


Cha-Am is the next town north of Hua Hin.
